Pulse Psychiatry donate £500 to YoungMinds

Pulse Psychiatry is committed to improving mental health in the UK, that’s why this year at the Royal College of Psychiatrists International Congress we ran our #mindtips campaign. We encouraged everyone in attendance – and our followers online – to tweet their best tips for those who are struggling with mental health problems. As part of our campaign we promised to make a 25p donation to YoungMinds – the UK’s leading charity for improving the mental health of children and young people – for every tweet that we received during the week. We had a great response to the campaign during the week receiving over 600 tweets in total. That meant we were obliged to donate £156 to the charity…however, as a goodwill gesture we have decided to bolster that number up to £500 so that the money can go a little further towards helping those struggling with mental health problems in the UK.

We were overwhelmed by the response that we received from the #mindtips campaign during the International Congress and it was great to see so many psychiatrists taking the time to offer advice to those that are suffering. There were some great suggestions and we’ve decided to highlight just a few of those below. Take a look through some of our favourite #mindtips.

These are some great tips to keep the mind healthy from some of the top psychiatrists in the country. If you know someone who you think could benefit from advice on keeping a healthy mind then share this blog and help others in your social media network find the strength and positivity to help their mental health thrive.
