One last song for Teenage Cancer

Pulse supporting Teenage Cancer Trust

The Pulse Allied Health and Health Science teams tested out their X Factor credentials by singing Christmas carols at a supermarket in Hertfordshire. After a brief warm up in the courtyard of the Pulse offices, the team headed to a local store to belt out some Christmas classics. Singing carols such as Away in a Manger, Silent Night and We Three Kings, the team serenaded shoppers frantically finishing their Christmas shopping. After singing for around 90 minutes through the rain and blustery conditions, the team made their way back to the office with a staggering £335.00 (and a few sore throats). All money donated is going to The Teenage Cancer Trust, their chosen charity for 2015.

Throughout the year the team has been fundraising for The Teenage Cancer Trust, taking part in monthly fundraising events such as 10k runs, food festivals and various raffles. Adding the carolers donations to the pot means we have raised over £5,200 throughout the year. Thank you to everyone that has kindly donated.

The teams are currently voting on their chosen charity for 2016, which will be announced in the New Year. If you’d like a last chance you can donate to our Teenage Cancer Trust fund here.
