Older People’s Day 2015

Older People’s Day 2015 is an awareness day that celebrates the positive contribution of older people to society. The day which is taking place on October 1st 2015, will see various organisations celebrating older people, whilst also promoting activities that keep the older generation ageing actively and happy.

With people living longer and 23% of the UK due to be aged 65 and over by 2035, it is more important than ever to get older people to engage in activities which keep them happy and healthy.

Pulse Allied Health and Health Science Services celebrate Older People’s Day

To celebrate this special day, the Pulse AHP and HSS division will be taking a hands-on approach. We’ll be visiting a number of nursing homes in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, to hold group fitness classes, facilitate a spot of gardening and many other activities to keep the patients active.
