About the hospital

Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs, with a bed capacity of over 1500, commenced its operations in early 1980s. Since then, it has continued expanding, while providing services for a rapidly growing patient population in all of its catchments areas. Today, King Fahad National Guard Hospital has evolved to be part of the King Abdulaziz Medical City with many other prominent medical centres. Since its inauguration in February 2001; and within a short period, KAMC has been recognized as a distinguished healthcare provider.

Requirements for the role

  • Must be US/UK/European/Canadian/New Zealand/Australian national.

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

  • Must have a Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute health care/ hospital setting. 2 years of which spent in Medical/Surgical/ Paediatric/Operating Room/Post Anaesthesia Recovery Room/High Dependency Unit/Emergency Room areas

  • Must have experience with eye surgery

  • Must speak and write fluent English. 

  • Must be between 25-40 years old.

  • Must be Female
