Ward Manager
Location: Staffordshire / Uttoxeter
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – Full time. Permanent position. 37.5 hours per week.
Pulse has an excellent opportunity for a Ward Manager, to work in a brand-new site in Uttoxeter. Our client is a pioneering, cutting edge healthcare provider – changing the approach to mental health services for children and adolescents. Aiming to transform children’s mental health service and address the challenges of the current Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The successful candidate will be leading the delivery of quality mental health nursing care.
What will be your daily responsibilities?
- Leading the delivery of quality mental health nursing care and treatment for an inpatient (CAMHS) ward of 12 patients
- Shape nursing practice and service developments from the ground floor, at a new and innovative service
- Support the implementation of a transformative Integrated Care Pathway for patients, which will revolutionise CAMHS practice
What requirements do I need to be successful?
- A qualified nurse, either mental health trained or learning disabilities or child health trained
- 3 years post-registration experience is essential
- Inpatient experience is essential
- CAMHS experience is desirable
- Background as a Lead Clinical Nurse is desirable
- A strong and inspiring role model
