Pulse is delighted to be working in partnership with one of Central London’s leading private day surgery clinics to recruit for a Theatre Scrub Nurse/practitioner. The Scrub Nurse/practitioner will be working Monday – Friday, regular hours.

This successful clinic specialises in orthopaedic and sports injury procedures allowing you to work in a contemporary day stay environment, equipped with state of the art facilities, alongside some of Europe’s leading specialists in their field.

This impressive clinic is set over 3 floors and includes; 3 theatres (one with a recovery area and the other with an anaesthesia area). There is also a minor procedure room, plus consulting rooms.

As a Theatre Scrub Nurse/practitioner you will be working within a multidisciplinary team, assisting the surgeons within theatre such as:

Preparation of theatre equipment pre surgery
Assisting with escorting patients to theatre
Scrubbing/circulating in theatres
Applicants must have HPC or NMC registration and a minimum of 1 years scrub experience. Some exposure to orthopaedic scrub is required.

There are fantastic growth opportunities within the clinic – eventually this position will be to become the lead in theatres and manage a team.

As you will be liaising with consultants as well as patients, strong communication skills are a must, as well as a flexible approach to your work.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum. The successful candidate will have the chance to work within a friendly, specialist team with excellent career development prospects.
