Duties and Responsibilities of a Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics

• To provide and maintain the highest possible standard of clinical care for patients
• To ensure all documentation is completed accurately, which includes giving and receiving patient centred handovers
• Ensure timely reporting of faulty or broken equipment using the department reporting system
• Ensure 100% compliance with all stages of the WHO check
• Work in line with the hospital policies, procedures and SOP’s including safe management and storage of medicines
• Complete monthly checks and sign them off to confirm anaesthetic trollies and rooms are cleaned and stocked ready for the next session

Requirements of a Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics

• You will be NMC or HCPC registered
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role
