Theatre Manager

Location: Central London, UK

Salary: £41,00 – £45,000 (annual) + Outstanding Benefits

Role: Permanent, Full-Time position

Pulse is working alongside a London private hospital to recruit a Theatre Manager to work across their fully equipped Theatre department that includes a total of 8 theatres.

The hospital covers a variety of specialties including General Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT and amongst others. The department also boast 3 theatres for Orthopaedic surgery including a Da Vinci robotic surgery suite and an Orthopaedic robot.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a market leading salary of up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience and skills.

About the role

The successful post holder will lead their dynamic Theatre team. As an effective, empathetic, and visible leader, you will provide administrative (budgets and targets) and clinical assistance to the theatre department in order to promote and assure the delivery of the very best patient perioperative care.

Working together with the Surgical Services manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing theatre lists and workforce, as well as providing strategic and operational guidance to the departmental business; planning new services and introducing new technology as needed.

We are looking for you to have:

  • A qualified practitioner with a valid NMC or HCPC registration
  • Proven management and influencing abilities, as well as the capacity to encourage and enthuse individuals/teams are required
  • Expert knowledge in a leadership position
  • Organisational skills and the capacity to priorities and delegate workload effectively, as well as respond to department and hospital needs
  • Excellent IT abilities
