Team Leader (Band 6)

Permanent, Full time

Grade: Band 6

Salary: £41,544 – £50,030 BAR £51,647 – £56,090 per annum

Location: Guernsey

Pulse is recruiting an experiences and driven Team Leader to support the Ward Manager in providing quality leadership to the Ward team.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in providing high quality mental health care to service users. The Team Leader will work with service users who have moderate as well as severe and enduring mental health problems.

Skills and Experience:

  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, often under pressure.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and alone without direct supervision within your level of experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clinical management of service users
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff and students on placement
  • Undertake assessment of service users with complex care needs
  • Create adaptable, high quality individual models of care
  • Take lead in promotion of health and wellbeing of service users
  • Support ward manager to ensure the provision of best practice
