Surgical Care Practitioner

Location: Central London, UK

Salary: £56,697 – £62,996

Role: Permanent, Full-Time position

Pulse Nursing is presently looking for a Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) to work for one of London’s top private healthcare organisations!

This well-known hospital has ten operating rooms focusing on a variety of different specialties! Successful Practitioner’s will be expected to assist with robotic surgery inside the department. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding new enterprise for Urology, Gynecology, and Colorectal Surgery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a high standard of patient care applying evidence-based practice
  • Being able to work in an exceptional team in all areas of theatre and supporting your colleagues
  • Continue development as a SCP in practice
  • Have clinical responsibility with the consultant surgeon – with day-to-day direction

We are looking for you to be:

  • Registered as UK NMC or HCPC ODP
  • Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) is preferred
  • Previous experience in Laparoscopy or Robotics
  • Scrub experience is essential
  • Previous 18 months exp in a similar role
