Staff Nurse – Mental health

Salary: £34,900 – £39,956 per annum

Location: West Sussex

 

Pulse is working alongside a leading independent service provider care for people with mental illnesses in West Sussex. This service has a male high dependency unit, female low secure unit and a specialist personality disorder unit.  You will be helping people improve their health and wellbeing so they can live a happier and more independent life.

This vacancy is for a staff nurse to deliver direct personal care and interventions to patients while working with in a collaborative team

We are keen to speak to a staff nurse with clinical experience of working within behavioural care along with abiding by the NMC standard of practice.

Job role

The role includes leading the implementation of a nursing assessment, planning and evaluation of person-centred care of both the patient’s physical and mental health needs.

Requirements

  • NMC registration
  • Qualified Registered Mental Health / Learning Disability Nurse with 6-12 months post registration
  • It is essential that the candidate is IT literate with desirable experience of using a range of software
  • Experience within a clinical specialty
  • Positive attitude
  • Knowledge of NMC standard guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Regular working hours of 12.5-hour shifts day and nights, 07:30-20:00 or 19:30-08:00. Working 3 days on 4 days off or 4 days off 3 days on.
