Staff Nurse – Paediatric Complex Care

Location: Central London, UK

Salary: £35,970 – £38,240 (annual) depending on experience
£5,000 welcome bonus offered *T’s and C’s apply*

Role: Permanent, Full-Time position

 

Pulse Nursing are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join a Paediatric Inpatient ward in the UK’s largest private Children and Women’s healthcare hospital in London!

The remarkable hospital specialises in paediatrics, women’s health and obstetrics (maternity)! You will be working in the Neurorehabilitation and complex care inpatient ward. You will be responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care for children on the ward.

The hospital has 82 in-patient beds, including 9-bedded paediatric intensive care unit (PICU), 5-bedded labour ward, 5-bedded paediatric neuro rehabilitation unit and 4 theatres. They provide a general paediatric service for all children from birth through to 18 years old and also offer a wide range of more specialised services, including allergies, ENT, general surgery, neurology, orthopaedics, physiotherapy and sensory integration.

You would need to be flexible to work long days, nights and weekends based on an internal rotation!

While working within a multidisciplinary team within the paediatric ward, you will ensure all children’s needs are met and focused on. You will need to ensure you have a thorough understanding of the safeguarding issues and clinical governance policies. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills as a paediatric nurse and spend time focusing on patients.

Requirements:

  • NMC-registered Children’s Nurse
  • Basic paediatric life support
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team
