Staff Nurse – ICU
- Salary: £31,000 – £37,000
- Location: Sutton, Surrey
- Hours: Full Time
About the Role:
This leading private hospital is looking for an experienced ICU Staff Nurse to join their friendly intensive care team and benefit from access to a variety of training programs and career progression opportunities. You will be caring for level 2/3 patients and will be given the opportunity to work alongside some of the best consultants in the region and expand your skills and expertise. They have six operating theatres covering a wide range of specialities and procedure including Ortho, Gynae and Cardio.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Caring for Level 2/3 patients in ITU
- Assess patients’ health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals’ health and wellbeing needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- looking after post cardiothoracic surgical and general patients
- Receiving patients from theatre
- Assisting the Multi-Disciplinary Team in planning care

Who we’re looking for:
- NMC registered
- 2 years ICU experience
- ICU certificate (desirable)
- cardiothoracic experience preferable but not essential
- Good communication skills
