Staff Nurse – Haematology/Stem Cell Transplant Unit

Location: Central London, UK

Salary: £34,535 – £41,503 (annual) depending on experience

**£5,000 ‘Golden Hello Welcome’ incentive

Role: Permanent, Full-time position

 

Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join one of London’s largest private hospitals in their Haematology/Stem Cell Transplant Unit!

The unit consists of 12 beds which feature positive pressure ventilation and HEPA filtration and allows you to treat and care for patients with haematological malignancies with SACT and stem cell transplant: Allogeneic, Autologous, Cord, Haplo and CAR-T therapy.

They are looking for a full-time permanent position to be filled! You will need to be flexible to work shifts over the course of Monday – Sunday, on a rotation of covering long days, nights and weekends.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible and focus on individualised patient care using a holistic and dynamic approach
  • Take upon leadership and act as deputy for when the sister/charge nurses are absent
  • Promote safe practice at all times
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with a range of professionals
  • Ensure all nursing records are precise and accurate using their IT systems

We are looking for you to be:

  • NMC Registered
  • Have previous experience of working in an acute setting with some haematology experience
  • Have completed a post registration course in either haematology, stem cell transplant, chemotherapy administration and/or cancer foundation course
  • Familiar with CVADs
