Description

Pulse is working with the Channel Islands largest provider of health care. Our client is looking for a committed and motivated staff nurse to join their Community Health and Well-being service.

Are you a Registered Nurse with experience of working within the Community? Do you have good clinical skills and competency in wound care? Are you caring and compassionate, motivated and committed to providing assistance and care within the Community to a range of clients? Do you have the confidence and capability of providing care to patients without direct supervision?

As part of the multi-disciplinary team you will provide assistance in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for our clients. You will also be required to assist with the management of caseloads in order to provide a high quality service as well as providing assistance in the supervision, deployment and teaching of staff and student nurses acting as their mentor, preceptor and/or supervisor.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmed of care for patients
  • Take charge of the ward and supervise nursing staff on a regular basis
  • Put into practice the theory and principles of the agreed nursing model
  • To assist in the learning, development and assessment of unregistered/ junior staff and learners
  • Act as a clinical supervisor and preceptor develop skills of first and second level nurse and nursing auxiliaries

Requirments

  • NMC registered
  • Post qualification experience
