Staff Nurse (BAND 6) – Haematology
Location: Central London, UK
Salary: £44,649 – £51,388 (annual) depending on experience
**£5,000 ‘Golden Hello Welcome’ incentive
Role: Permanent, Full-time and Part-time available
Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join one of London’s largest private hospitals in Haematology!
The cancer unit includes radiotherapy and chemotherapy suites as well as 47 patient bedrooms. With the modern technology and equipment, they are able to treat an extensive range of cancers for most patients. The stem cell transplantation unit consists of 12 bed purpose facility.
They have the opportunity of offering both full-time and part-time positions!
They are open to flexible work patterns which can day-only shifts and night-only shifts as well as mixed shift rotations.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Be responsible and focus on individualised patient care using a holistic and dynamic approach with oncological/haematological care needs
- Provide leadership and act as deputy for when the sister/charge nurses are absent
- Promote safe practice at all times
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with a range of professionals
- Organise and participate in teaching, assessing and orientating staff as well as support training programmes regarding blood transfusion competencies
- Develop and participate in reach-based practice and clinical and local audits
- Keep up to date with current editions of the FACT-JACIE accreditation standards
We are looking for you to be:
- NMC Registered
- Previous experience of working on an oncology and/or haematology unit is preferred
- Have completed a post registration course in either haematology, stem cell transplant, chemotherapy administration and/or cancer foundation course
- Experience in stem cell transplantation is advantageous
