Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Chigwell, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will be working in a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions specialising in  specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech & Language Therapist:

  • Demonstrate specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and to generate appropriate strategies for caseload management. 
  • Undertake audits and contributing to research in the provision of treatments.
  • Specialist knowledge in the areas of acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

What we are looking for in a Speech & Language Therapist:

  • HCPC registration
  • Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
  • Experience of working with families
