Description

A rewarding opportunity has become available for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established client based in Essex. This position is offering full-time hours per week in a permanent role.

The successful candidate will be working within a nurture and therapeutic environment, providing key stage 2 pupils that have speech and language disorders, with tailored assessments and treatments.

Duties will include:

  • To liaise closely with key colleagues, the multi-disciplinary clinical team and managers to provide an intensive treatment service for children enrolled within TCES.
  • To identify all children and young people who have Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention identified as a need on their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and to ensure that this is delivered effectively and in a timely way

To be considered for this role:

  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice
  • Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload, working flexibly and creatively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, evaluate, monitor and develop services.
  • Proficient communication, IT and interpersonal skills.
  • Developed negotiation and problem-solving skills in complex situations.
