Description

This role is a full-time position in the NHS based in Bristol; it offers highly negotiable

rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust is seeking an enthusiastic specialty doctor in Perinatal Psychiatry to work part time hours for an initial 6-week period. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.

The applying psychiatrist will ideally have Perinatal/Mother and Baby experience and must have adult and child enhanced DBS.

Position: Specialty Doctor in Perinatal Psychiatry

Hours: This position is a part-time role of 20 hours per week 

Location: Bristol

Dates: This position is available for an initial 6 weeks with a view to extend.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Computer literate

Requirements:

  • You must have a full GMC licence to practice
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12 approval is essential
  • Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
