Sister/Charge Nurse – Oncology Ward (Private)
Location: St Johns Wood, London
Hours: 37.5hrs pw (Shifts: Long days, nights & weekends)
Salary: Competitive dependent on skills & experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

About the Role
We have a brilliant opportunity for a Sister/ Charge Nurse based at a leading Private Hospital
The role is based in the 17 bed oncology and medical ward. There is a mixture of acutely unwell patients, chemotherapy patients and end of life patients.
The Sister/Charge Nurse will provide a clinical setting that guarantees our patients and visitors receive the highest standards of care; a setting that is conducive to learning, supporting, and participating in the supervision/teaching of more junior or new staff; and a level of service that at all times complies with our vision, aspiration, and values. Without supervision and in cooperation with the multidisciplinary team, the Sister/Charge Nurse will offer patients/clients, family members, and carers high-quality personalised care.

Skills & Experience
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Post registration qualification in Cancer/ Chemotherapy Nursing
- Recognised teaching, assessing, mentoring qualification
- Extensive experience within Cancer specialty Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Evidence of management experience / training
- Skilled in Phlebotomy / Cannulation / Care of CVADs/ IV administration
