Pulse are working closely with with one of the leading providers of specialist medical care in the world. Out client is currently looking for a senior scrub practitioner specialising in HVTI (Heart, Vascular, Thoracic) to join their amazing theatres team. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and efficient care for all patients and relatives.
There are eight state-of-the-art theatres covering surgical institutes including a hybrid theatre, robotic theatre and intraoperative MRI facilitates. Many specialties are dealt with here including, Urology, neuro, orthopedic, plastics, general surgery and cardiovascular.
Full time 37.5 hours Mon – Sat
Monday to Friday between 07:30 – 20:00
Saturdays between 07:30 – 18:00
On call will also be required

Duties and Responsibilities of a senior scrub HVTI practitioner
The senior theatre scrub practitioner is responsible for working with the multi – disciplinary team to assess, implement and evaluate effective care.
- Always Ensuring patient safety
- Help and support patients before surgery
- Work closely with the theatre manager, deputy, team leaders and other theatre caregivers
- Ensure patient documentation and safety measures are carries out with the client guidelines
Requirements of a senior scrub HVTI practitioner
- You will be registered on the NMC or HCPC register
- A minimum of 6 months UK experience
