Senior RMN – Bristol
£35,000 – £40,000 Per annum

We are recruiting a Senior Registered Mental Health nurse/Lead (RMN) or Registered learning disabilities nurse/Lead (RNLD) to work alongside a specialist rehabilitation, recovery, and accommodation services business in the Bristol. This organisation specialises in providing community-based solutions to people with diagnosed mental health conditions or complex, unmet needs.
This permanent, full time nurse will be working in a recently converted 12-bed step through rehabilitative facility set in the beautiful grounds of South Gloucestershire. The facility houses adult males aged 18-65 with a mental health illness, the service’s core philosophy is the promotion of independence, health and social recovery through bespoke rehabilitation and care/support planning for these adults.

As the Senior nurse you will provide support, guidance and leadership to an innovative and compassionate clinical team. You will be expected to work in partnership with the Registered Manager and therapeutic team to deliver a recovery focused clinical and therapeutic offering to male adults experiencing complex mental health difficulties using a wide range of bespoke care planning and risk management strategies.
Your team will be comprised of both nursing and front-line support staff and you will be expected to lead and continuously develop the clinical offering ensuring that the service’s values and visions are encapsulated and embedded into clinical practice and that person centred planning is integral to the clinical offering.
What we are looking for:
- Current NMC registration
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of working with individuals with complex and needs
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability and confidence to generate and build effective relationships with colleagues, services users and external stakeholders
- Experienced in formulating care/support plans and risk assessments
