Pulse have had an exciting permanent position become available for an Clinical, Educational or Forensic Psychologist in Durham.
The post holder will work across educational services for young people with highly complex needs, which include challenging behaviours. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering part-time (term only) in a permanent role.
The appointed Clinical Psychologist will provide specialist psychological support for pupils and residents. To carry out expert assessments, using information from a variety of sources and assessment tools. Then create plans for specialist psychological interventions. This may be for an individual, group, care staff or families. Using evidence-based practice, to decide what is appropriate and will deliver the best results.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Be HCPC registered
- Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
- Be analytical and show good attention to detail
