Senior Operating Department Practitioners (ODP)
Location: Central London, UK
Salary: £41,102 – £45,669 (annual)
Role: Permanent, Full-Time position
Pulse is delighted to be working alongside the largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care, to recruit a Senior Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) in one of their London hospitals in the medical district! This hospital specialises in orthopedics, urology, colorectal, gynaecology, breast and ear, nose and throat (ENT). They are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position; it is a Monday – Friday role.
We are seeking an Operating Department Practitioner who is experienced in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high standards of nursing care undergoing endoscopic procedures under anesthetics.

The impressive hospital has 127 registered beds, including 8 operating theatres with a recovery area on each floor, a nine-bedded critical care unit, an urgent care centre, as well as outpatient and diagnostic facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient assessment
- Physical assessment
- Participating in ward rounds
- Work closely with various teams to support patient care
- Maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff
- Excellent communication
- Maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio
We are looking for you to have:
- Registered to practice in the UK (HCPC)
- Anesthetics experience
- Experience in GI endoscopy unit
