Scrub Theatre Practitioner

Location: Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UK

Salary: £27,055 – £32,934 (annual) depending on experience

Role: Permanent, Full-time

 

Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for a Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join one the largest private healthcare companies in Sutton Coldfield!

The well-renowned hospital 34 inpatient rooms, a dedicated 2-bedded ERU, 3 laminar flow theatres, endoscopy unit, outpatient services and on-site physiotherapy rehabilitation facilities.

They are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position to join the talented and high performing theatre team! This is a great opportunity to develop your theatre career further!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating all aspects of patient care
  • Working across a complex and changing caseload, ensuring you meet patient needs
  • Delivering a high standard of patient care applying evidence-based practice
  • Being able to work in a multidisciplinary team in all areas of theatre and supporting your colleagues
  • Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, organising data, interpreting information and making justifiable assessments
  • Improve working environment and contribute to improving health and safety environments, infection control and work practices

We are looking for you to be:

  • An NMC Registered Nurse, or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
  • Previous scrub experience
