Description

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) Or Registered General Nurse (RGN)

Permanent, full time or part time

Up to £35,510 per annum,

Pulse and a leading healthcare organisation are working together to recruit RMN’s and RNLD’s to work at one of their services in London.

 

The service cares for mixed gender adult patients with brain injuries and assists them through their rehabilitation.

 

This is a brain injury unit with 17 beds and provides assessment and specialist rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions with a primary cognitive and behavioural need. This service is typically for those who no longer require the high level of medical care provided by an NHS hospital but who on assessment would benefit from an intensive period of neurological rehabilitation and cognitive behavioural management.

 

You will be caring for patients with conditions such as:

 

  • Anoxic brain injuries
  • Brain tumours
  • Complex strokes
  • Infections such as meningitis or encephalitis
  • Subarachnoid haemorrhages
  • Traumatic brain injuries

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • NMC registered RMN or RNLD
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting
