Registered Mental Health Nurse
Monday – Thursday – regular working hours (part time & full time options)
Band 5

Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for a new opportunity outside of the NHS? Or an RMN who is newly qualified now wanting to direct your career within a unique mental health service?
The successful RMN has an opportunity to work full time across 4 days or part time – 2 days per week. These days will be across Monday – Thursday.
Pulse is working with a innovative and pioneering Mental health outpatient service in Central London to recruit a Registered mental health nurse. This will be an integral role in the success of the service.
This organisation is a biotechnology company with clinical operations researching, developing, and delivering psychedelic medicine to treat Addiction. It is integrating psychedelic medicine into mainstream healthcare through Research, Digital, Clinics, and Ecosystems.
This service will work in a unique way utilising a combination of psychedelic medicine, psychotherapy, delivered by qualified therapists, in a carefully designed environment, which will lead to improved treatment outcomes.
Job role
- Prepare and administer medication using evidence based practice
- Carry out physical health checks, and be able to document results and react accordingly
- Attend MDT meetings; discuss new referrals, review cases
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse – with current NMC
- A minimum of 1 years’ post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience of medication management
- Experience of working therapeutically with adults with mental health difficulties with a range of complexities, particularly addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders
