Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Nurse preceptorship

Permanent, full time

£32,063 per annum plus a £3,000 welcome bonus

Maidenhead

Pulse is currently working with a one of the United Kingdom’s biggest mental health organisations to recruit a newly qualified RMN for one of its child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) based in Maidenhead.

You will be working in a supportive environment as a newly qualified nurse – this unit has developed and been successful at offering a proven nurse preceptorship programme.

The service is split over 4 separate units and cares for CAMHS patients with conditions such as Anorexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Psychosis.

Roles and responsibilities included but not exclusive of

  • Protecting and supporting the health of individual patients / residents
  • Assessment of care and health education needs
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care including discharge planning for each patient

Skills and experience

 

  • NMC registered
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualified
