Registered Nurse

Location: Central Manchester, UK

Salary: £25,655 – £31,534 (annual) depending on experience

Role: Permanent, Part-Time position

 

Pulse Nursing are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse to join a leading private and independent hospital in Central Manchester! A new opportunity has opened to join their busy surgical ward providing post-surgery care to the patients.

The remarkable hospital has 44 private rooms each with en-suite facilities, five operating theatres, one hybrid theatre, a day case unit, a level 3 critical care unit, paediatric services for children, endoscopy suite and more!

While working within a multidisciplinary team within surgical ward, you will need to be able to plan, deliver, implement and evaluate high standards of patient focused care as a registered nurse. You will be undertaking care for patients who have had a wide range of operations, including orthopaedics, ENT and gynaecology.

Responsibilities:

  • Focused on post-operative care
  • Assist, plan and deliver in recovery process
  • Providing emotional support
  • Liaising with patients, families and consultants
  • Provide recommendations to improve patients’ wellbeing

 

Requirements:

  • NMC-registered nurse
  • Individual who is used to working with minimum supervision
  • Experience of working in an acute environment
  • Desirable but not necessary surgical experience
