Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) – Care Home
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Salary: £18.20 per hour + £1500 welcome bonus*
Role: Permanent, Full-Time & Part-Time available
Pulse Nursing is delighted to be working alongside a specialist nursing care home to find a Registered Mental Health Nurse / Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse for adults of all ages living with a range of complex care needs in Cheshire.
The home specialises in supporting people living with complex mental health needs and mixed diagnoses, including neuro-disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities and those who have tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding. The home will support 20 adults split into two ten-bed units, their focus is on providing person-centred care ensuring patients will maximise their independence, build everyday living skills and empower them to live as fulfilled lives as possible.
You will be required to support patients on their rehabilitation journey from the hospital or living in a secure setting, as well as caring for those with long term or degenerative illnesses. Their recovery process offers: nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and access to a full behavioural support team. You will also be supported by Healthcare Assistants during your patient’s journey with an average ratio being 5 Healthcare Assistants to each Nurse.
