Join a fantastic team of nurses that aim to provide care for patients around Hull. As a Hysteroscopy Nurse, you will play a vital role for patients by improving health and wellbeing. Collectively, we can focus on improving patient’s care and support they receive during their recovery period.
We are offering you ad hoc weekend work within a private organization in Hull with enhanced rates of pay £35.00 – £39.83 per hour (weekends only)
Hysteroscopy Nurse duties and responsibilities include:
- Assessment, planning, and implementation of care within this area of practice and completion of accurate documentation
- Pre and post procedure care including monitoring patients, reporting and managing possible complications
- Administration of medications via the appropriate route
- Communicate and liaise with the MDT and other agencies including referrals when required
- Communicate with patients, families and significant others
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of epidemiology, pathology and presentation of certain associated conditions
- Demonstrate knowledge regarding procedure related devices/instruments, mechanisms of action, indications, contraindications and local anaesthetic
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of national, local, professional guidelines and pathways related to hysteroscopic procedures
- Undertake diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopic procedures, other clinical interventions and examinations within a clinical setting
- Work autonomously as a clinical expert, manage a caseload of patients and work within a team
Hysteroscopy Nurse Role Requirements:
- NMC Registration of at least 6 months
- Competent in MyoSure procedures
- Successful completion of a diagnostic hysteroscopy course
- Minimum of 6 months experience post qualification as a Hysteroscopy Nurse
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV
- Right to work within the UK – Proof will be required
