Pulse Nursing are offering a variety of shifts for registered and experienced General Nurses across Herefordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for general nurses to provide a caring and professional body of care to a diverse range of patients as a Pulse nurse working shifts in our community hospitals.

Whether you are looking for an extra shift or two or for more frequent hours, Pulse has you sorted. We work flexibly to your needs and you are in control of when and where you want to work and at times that suit you and your lifestyle.

Day and night shifts are available, Monday – Sunday. 

Rates £36.50 – £41.00 per hour.

What you will be doing as a General Nurse:

As a General Nurse working in a community hospital, you will provide an appropriate range and format of accessible health care for the defined community. This will include inpatient beds and may include outpatients, diagnostics, surgery, day care, nurse led, maternity, primary care and outreach services for patients provided by multidisciplinary teams.

Pulse Nursing agency requirements

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Valid NMC registration
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
  • Met our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and updated CV
  • Proof of right to work within the UK

General Nurses with experience working in A&E, ITU and Medical/Surgical settings will also be considered for this role.

Additional requirements:

  • Valid driving license with use of own car
  • Proficient in the use of computers and associate technological programmes (training will be provided)
  • Exceptional communication and people skills to relate to patients and provide appropriate advice
  • Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
  • Provide delegated care to patients within the inpatients department
  • Manage own time effectively demonstrating flexibility to meet the service
