Recovery Theatre Practitioner

Location: Central London, UK

Salary: £34,536 – £38,374 (annual) depending on experience plus shift allowances

Role: Permanent, Full-Time position

 

Are you an experienced nurse with a background in theatre?

Pulse is delighted to be working alongside one of London’s largest private healthcare, to recruit a Recovery Theatre Practitioner. They are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position to work varied shift patterns such as early shifts, late shifts and long day shifts.

The leading hospital specialises in cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cancer care, women’s health and spinal care. They are set across 3 buildings: having a total of 11 theatres!

You will have the opportunity to work with world class surgeons in various environments and see simple and complex surgeries. This can be a great opportunity to learn and excel in your career.

To be considered for the role, you will need to be:

  • An experienced theatre nurse or operating department practitioner (ODP)
  • Have your NMC/HCPC registration in the UK
  • Extensive experience in theatre as a recovery nurse

You will be accountable for assessing, developing, and implementing patients’ care. You will need to consider each of the perioperative phases of patients – monitoring the patients health to decide whether they can be discharged back to the ward.
