Description

Pulse is now seeking to recruit an experienced Physiotherapist to join our client’s well-established hospital based in Berkshire. The post is available to start as soon as possible, in a locum role.

The successful physiotherapist will provide assessments and the treatment of Inpatients in a general hospital and potentially patients stepped down from hospital to community beds. Applying physiotherapists must have experience of working within an inpatient setting to be considered for the role.

Overall Responsibilities:
• Assess patient’s health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet individual’s health and wellbeing needs
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information. 
• Develop own knowledge and skills and those of others. 
• Promotes best practice in health and safety and security.
• Assist in maintaining and developing services.
• Contribute to quality improvement.
• Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights 
• Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment of patients.

Skills and experience needed:
• Member of the HCPC
• Moving and handling experience, using equipment as required
• Degree in Physiotherapy 
• Working with multi-disciplinary team
• Post graduate experience as a Physiotherapist across a range of specialties
• Experience of independently managing/prioritising case loads
