Are you an HCPC registered physiotherapist looking for an exciting and rewarding role within a private care home?

Pulse have an exciting opportunity available for a Physiotherapist to work within a private care home within Liverpool. The post is available for the appointed physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time and part time working hours per week in a permanent role.

The successful candidate will assist with completing rehabilitation and maintenance programmes for residents with varied neurological and progressive conditions, and will also be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team.

Duties within this role will include:

  • Taking responsibility for a clinical caseload
  • Carrying out assessments and reviews, ensuring that service users receive appropriate treatment
  • Using appropriate communication skills and tools to communicate with service users
  • Monitoring, evaluating and recording patient progress, modifying treatment plans as required
  • Liaising with agencies including GPs, consultants, hospital staff, PCTs and social services
  • Liaising with the nursing team and care staff
  • Working as part of a team
  • Assisting with the training of other health care staff as required

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Be HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
  • Hold the relevant degree/qualifications in physiotherapy
  • Experience in tracheostomy, mental health, and neurological care would also be advantageous, however, full training is provided via our comprehensive induction.
  • Be empathetic and caring
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Good time management
  • Interest in anatomy and physiology
