Description

Pulse has formed a new partnership with a leading UK specialist in diagnostic and healthcare services. We are in search of a skilled Occupational Therapist for a role situated in a private clinic in Walthamstow, conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. The successful candidate will deliver a range of therapies to children who have special educational needs. Our efforts are primarily directed towards children aged 2-10 years who have been diagnosed with Autism.

 

About the role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people.

Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:

  • To manage, assess and treat own caseload of patients/clients, engage and work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that children are fully engaged in their care pathway.
  • Clinical administration.
  • Conduct and develop audits and/or research projects.

 

What we are looking for in a Occupational Therapist:

  • Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
     

  • Proficiency in engaging with individuals on the autism spectrum.
