What will be required from you:

• You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis
• You will act as a resource person to others, providing accurate information, advice and support to the multidisciplinary team, patients and their relatives.
• You will uphold high standards of perioperative care, according to existing policies and procedures.
• You will manage the clinical workload effectively, ensuring care is prioritised appropriately
• You will promote a safe environment and high standards of care
• You will educate patients and carers in specialist area and give advice to discharged patients.

• Salary Band 5 pay scale from £27,055 gross per annum  (Pre OSCE salary: £23,949).

Upon arrival in the UK, you will undertake a comprehensive OSCE training course as part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process, culminating in an exam. It is essential that you pass the exam (you will have a maximum of 3 attempts) in order to qualify as an NMC-registered nurse. Once this has happened, you will attend the standard NHS induction course and, following this, be given further support and mentoring within your ward or area of specialty.
