Pulse would like to take this opportunity to speak with nurses about this outpatients nurse role offering a fantastic work life balance and safe working environment.

This private, London based clinic/outpatient nurse role is to work with a organisation that is a recognised centre of excellence within orthopaedic and sports injury care.

This purpose-built clinic has a dedicated outpatients unit and houses a 11 bed day stay ward, with 4 en-suit patient rooms and 7 pod areas in addition to, 3 day-theatres, and 6 recovery bays.

The successful nurse will be working to support the team to provide diagnosis and treatments of non surgical and surgical musculoskeletal conditions, in addition to providing care to high performance and recreational athletes with sports injuries.

The specialist teams cover almost every aspect of non-complex orthopaedic surgical and non-surgical treatments and the outpatients nurse role would be the following:

  • Wound care
  • Removal of casts
  • Assisting patients through their outpatient journey
  • Assisting with boots and braces
  • Advice on medications and care

Shift patterns are usually 2 long shifts (11.5 hrs) and 2 short shifts 7.25 hours) per week (totalling 37.5 hours), ranging from 6:45am-17:15pm, 08:30am-21:00pm or 06:45-14:30pm. Nurses are given their rota a month in advance.

In addition to working in a supportive team, this employer offers a very rewarding competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave.
