Operating Department Practitioners (ODP)
Location: Lincolnshire, UK
Salary: £27,055 – £32,934 (annual) depending on experience
Role: Permanent, Full-time position
Are you currently a Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) looking for a new opportunity but want to move away from the high cost of living areas around the UK?
Pulse Nursing have partnered with the North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust to recruit ODP’s to join their fantastic team to work in one of 3 hospitals in the Heartlands of England.
The hours will nominally be from 08:00 to 18:30 – Monday to Friday.
The outstanding trust offers a wide range of surgeries from Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Breast, Gynae, Urology, Maxillo-Facial and Orthopaedic in line with the Recovery phase post COVID.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out scrub, recovery and anaesthetic duties according to policies and procedures
- Develop and deliver best evidenced based practice
- Work and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team supporting your colleagues
- Assemble, check, prepare and coordinate the use of equipment, drugs and consumables for the operative procedures
- Assist, plan and deliver in patient care
- Conduct mandatory patient checks against the supporting documentation during the patients perioperative journey
We are looking for you to be:
- NMC/HCPC Registration
- Previous experience in an operating theatre environment
