Onsite emergency nurse

Maple Cross, West London

Permanent, full time

£32,000 – £36,000 depending on experience per annum+ benefits

 

Are you an experienced accident and emergency (A&E) nurse now looking to use your experience in a unique setting?

 

Are you looking for a nursing job offering training in occupational health or practice nursing – that also offers regular working hours, so no nights or weekends? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you…

 

We are working alongside an organisation offering health, wellbeing, and emergency nursing services to employees of various organisations in London.

 

This permanent position is for a registered nurse with experience in A&E. The nurse will be working in a dedicated medical centre and alongside a multidisciplinary team.

 

Based on a large construction site, working as the onsite nurse, you will often be the first nurse onsite offering minor injuries and illness care. In addition to this, there will be walk in patients into the medical centre and pre-arranged appointments.

Working Monday – Friday and regular hours, this position offers a salary of up to £36,000 per annum.  Other benefits include pension scheme and 33 days annual leave amongst other benefits.

 

Working alongside the nursing team, clinical nurse manager and a Doctor, the onsite nurse will provide the following nursing care and assessments:

 

  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Health surveillance
  • Health promotion
  • Wellbeing
  • Spirometry

 

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain training in occupational health nursing and to enrol on a recognised occupational health course.

 

A specific requirement is to be a car driver as there is no stations nearby.
