Location: Moggerhanger, Bedford
Hours: 22 hours per week
Salary: Up to £36,428 per annum (pro-rata)

Working in a beautiful hospice you will play a vital role in identifying life roles and activities that are meaningful to patients and planning care to address barriers to perform these activities.

Role and Responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist
- Conducting assessments to determine clients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Developing personalized treatment plans to enhance clients’ functional abilities and independence.
- Providing therapeutic palliative interventions and activities to improve clients’ daily living skills.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of clients’ progress.
Requirements of an Occupational Therapist
- Diploma/ BSC (Hons) in Occupational therapy
- Registered with Health and Care professionals council
- Highly specialist knowledge and application of therapy assessments and interventions using complex level clinical reasoning
- Ability to work autonomously and to set own and others priorities
