Description

Title: Occupational Health Advisor

Location: Manchester – Hybrid Working

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum

This is a once in a career opportunity for an exceptional Occupational Health Advisor to join a truly Clinically Led business.

You will be working as an Occupational Health Advisor, working full time, Monday – Friday. You will be expected to undertake appointments independently, set by clinical administrators, and liaise with clients to assess them clinically and understand how their employers are best placed to support them with their sustained attendance and performance in work, or in returning to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess an employee’s functionality and produce a quality report within the allocated Service Level Agreement (SLA), providing advice and support to employers on all matters which can facilitate an employee’s rehabilitation to work, or sustained attendance in work.
  • To ensure the Occupational Health service delivery and co-ordination of administration processes, are implemented accordingly and are in adherence with individual and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure operational efficiency of the Occupational Health function by completing the full range of services: active care referrals, management referrals, advice calls, ad hoc advice calls, Work Health Assessment questionnaire reviews, follow up calls, report triage etc. allocated to you.
  • Assist where required with potential new business and Relationship Management requirements where a clinical input is required.
  • Responding to client queries in a timely manner with the overall aim of achieving a satisfactory solution or clarification where required.
  • Attendance at Occupational Health team meetings as required, which will include taking part in presentations to ensure that current information and knowledge is shared with your team members to support continued professional development.
  • Adhere to ISO and SQOHS approved policies and procedures to ensure that quality and compliance is maintained at all times.
  • To carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Management Team

Key Requirements

  • Specialist degree or Diploma in Occupational Health
  • Current Licence (preferably Part 3 of Register) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Currently practising Occupational Health work
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent written and communication skills
