Pulse Nursing are looking for Midwives in Bath who are looking for flexibility in their work-life balance, with the opportunity to choose exactly when and where they want to work. Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts in Bath with escalated rates between £38.00 – £47.00 per hour, with a range of shifts available including long days, earlies, lates, nights and twilights.

Midwife responsibilities includes: 

  • Supporting the woman through all the stages of pregnancy, including antenatal, postnatal, labour, delivery.
  • Checking the position of baby, ensuring mother is comfortable.
  • Giving a plan of care to the mother and providing any pain relief including epidural.
  • Keeping in contact with, and supporting, doctors and other departments.
  • Delivering the baby safely, and examine the new-born, assisting with feeding and care of the baby.
  • Giving advice to families post delivery and supporting with the future.

Midwifery Role Requirements: 

  • Valid NMC registration
  • Membership to the RCM or Unison
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a Midwifery setting 
  • To meet the compliance requirements of both the NHS and private sector
  • Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
