Midwife – Barts

Pulse Nursing are delighted to offer Midwives new shift opportunities at Barts Health NHS Trust across Central and East London. 

This incredibly important role will support Mothers throughout the stages of their pregnancy, providing support and guidance, right through to welcoming their new arrival at a world renown Trust.  

Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams.  

Rates are between £23.05 – £38.00 per hour. 

Midwife responsibilities includes: 

• You will provide care and support to women and their families whilst they are pregnant, throughout labour and during the period after a baby’s birth 
• Identify high-risk pregnancies and identify the next best course of action 
• Monitor women, provide clinical examinations and screening 
• Provide antennal care which may include parenting classes 
• Teach mothers how to feed, bathe and care for their babies 

Midwife Role Requirements: 

• NMC Registration 6 months  
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Midwifery setting – able to provide 2 references for verification 
• To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV
• Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
