Pulse are looking for resilient and considerate Mental Health Care Assistant who is looking for work in Burgess Hill! We offer you the flexibility to work shifts that suit your lifestyle. We provide a online system, Ipoint, facilitates this allowing you to manage your availability and book your shifts.
About the Role
The successful Mental Health Care Assistant will be supporting patients with a high level of risk and challenging behaviors including individuals with high risks of self-harming behavior and people who may require a period of stabilization achieved through high dependency care or acute care, depending on their diagnosis. Your aim will be to help patients to live a happier, more independent life.
The hospital offers free onsite parking and subsidized meals are available for staff when on duty.
Shift range from Monday to Sunday.
Hourly pay ranges from £12.29 – £18.35.
Requirements for this role:
- Minimum of six months recent experience within the mental health sector
- Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment
- Able to provide proof of completing PMVA or be willing to attend 3 day course with us
- Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one
