Lead Fertility Nurse

Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 (depending on level of experience) + Bonus

Pulse is partnering with a new fertility clinic based in Leeds. The new clinic is launching with a sole aim to make a difference to the lives of patients who suffer from fertility problems. They offer different types of treatments and programmes to make the dream of becoming a parent and starting a family a reality to many of their patients.

Each treatment/programme is tailored to each patients’ needs and medical requirements. The clinic will be offering IVF and ICSI options to their patients. Their patients will also benefit from a variety of services they have to offer, they will have access to free a consultation to discuss their options available and many more services to ensure a seamless journey from start to end.

As the Lead Fertility Nurse, you will be delivering a world-class service by maintaining great communication and effective working relationships with patients, facilitators, clinical, and other clinic team members to ensure the continuation of high-quality patient care.

About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have extensive experience working as a nurse in either Gynaecology, fertility/reproductive. As a Lead fertility nurse, you will be resilient, self-motivated and have leadership skills. We’re looking for experienced fertility nurses with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is compassionate and caring, professional, and friendly always.

Your Duties and Responsibilities as a Lead Fertility Nurse will include but not limited to

• To be to co-ordinate and supervise clinical team members, providing clinical treatment to patients
• To arrange and distribute jobs and tasks to members of the clinical team.
• To be able to set a clinical team member work schedule monthly
• To monitor clinical team members’ daily performance to ensure that duties are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• To evaluate and correct timesheets, review, and react to time off requests, and manage payroll changes with HR/Finance for clinical team members.
• To be able assess clinical team members’ performances and conduct verbal and written evaluations

Candidate Requirements 

Essential

• Valid UK professional NMC registration: RN/RNC experience
• Fertility knowledge is required for the position, as is direct experience as a fertility nurse
• The successful applicant must be willing to become a CQC registered manager if they are not already one
• Continuing evidence of CPD
• Minimum 3 years plus experience working as a qualified nurse
• Proven knowledge of Fertility or Gynaecology/Reproductive & knowledge of child and adult safeguarding procedures
• Proven knowledge of Care Quality Commission requirements (CQC)
