IV Nurse Practitioner (IV Therapy) – Manchester/Wilmslow

Salary: £28,000 – £39,000 depending on experience + uncapped commission

About You

The preventative health practitioner will be responsible for educating patients, conveying knowledge of basic principles in preventative health as well as clinics accessible solutions and methods, so that they may make educated decisions about optimising and safeguarding their health.

You will carry the following duties as a IV Nurse Practitioner

  • Provide consultation and deliver preventative health services and solutions to patients
  • These services and solutions include medical diagnostic investigations, administration of vaccinations
  • Preparation and administration of IV and IM therapies and collection of genetic material in both a clinic and remote (concierge) setting
  • The preventative health practitioner will be required to educate patients, imparting their knowledge of basic concepts in preventative health and available solutions and strategies, to enable them to make informed decisions with regards to optimizing and protecting their health.

What qualities do we want in a IV Nurse?

  • You must be NMC/HCPC registered
  • You will have prior experience working in wellbeing
  • You will have good clinical knowledge and comprehension
  • You will be able to demonstrate great patient care
  • You will the relevant qualifications to your registration (RGN qualification)
  • Must be fully competent at cannulation
  • At least 2 year’s post qualification nursing experience
  • Recent experience delivering IV’s
