Pulse are assisting Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust with hiring Theatre Practitioners/Scrub Nurses to join their growing team.
What will you do within the Trust?
- Co-ordinate and provide skilled nursing/care (without direct supervision) to patients
- Contribute to the continuing development of nursing/care, including the supervision of junior nurses, operating department practitioners and support staff
- Act as an advocate for patients
- To plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for an allocated patient group, in consideration of individual need, using prioritisation and delegation skills
- To act as a positive role model and resource person to others including patients and relatives
What the Trust Need from you?
- Be a qualified Registered Nurse (RN)
- To have passed the English language requirements to work as a Nurse in the UK
- To have started the registration process with the NMC
- Experience working as a Scrub Nurse/ Theatre Practitioner or ODP in a hospital setting
