The Role: As a Band 8a/8b Forensic Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert psychological assessments and interventions within forensic settings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough psychological assessments of individuals in forensic services
- Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions and treatment plans
- Providing individual and group therapy to address complex mental health needs
- Conducting risk assessments and contributing to risk management plans
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Providing consultation and advice to colleagues and external agencies
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Forensic Psychologist with significant experience in forensic mental health
- Strong assessment and formulation skills
- Experience in delivering a range of therapeutic interventions within forensic settings
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
