Description

This role is a full-time position in the NHS in a Epping, Essex Inpatient service; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work from Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.

Position: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

Hours: This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week 

Setting: Inpatient 

Location: Epping, Essex

Dates: This position is to start ASAP for an initial 3 months with a view to extending

Locum rates vary from £80-£100 per hour PAYE. In some instances where there is a high demand or urgent need, this rate could be escalated higher.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Computer literate

Requirements:

  • You must have a full GMC licence to practice
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12 approval is essential
  • Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
