Are you a compassionate Occupational Therapist who specialises in Learning Disabilities?
Our client is currently seeking a band 7 Occupational Therapist to join their fantastic community Paediatric Learning Disabilities team within their private service based in Cheshire. This position will be available for the successful therapist to start immediately, working full time hours each week on a permanent basis.
To be considered for this role applying occupational therapists must have previous experience of working within adult learning disabilities and mental health, HCPC registration, and a relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Job Summary
- To manage Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for a complex caseload
- To manage and supervise qualified Occupational Therapy staff to develop their clinical
- skills
- To lead on development of Occupational Therapy training packages and coaching to upskill the broader workforce
- To lead on elements of Clinical Governance for the Occupational Therapy team
- To promote development of the Occupational Therapy service across site
- To manage Occupational Therapy service evaluation and research agendas and act as project manager for new innovations
